Here are the two steps that every Real Estate Agent must do to achieve success:

Step 1: Know Your Goals

This sounds simple enough, right? But take the time to think it through. What do you want to achieve this year? What does success look like to you? In what area of your life do you want a major breakthrough? Some common areas might be incoming wealth, financial security, quality of life, and self confidence, just to name a few.

There are two mains goals that you must set in your business. The first goal is your sales goal, and the second goal is your appointments goal. Your sales goal is how much you want to make in sales this year. The appointments goal is how many appointments you need to make per week in order to achieve your sales goal.

The amount of appointments you need to make per week is automatically calculated off of those numbers, and most people are surprised by the number of appointments they actually need to make per week to achieve their goals!

Step 2: Be in Touch With People

Being in touch with people is a main job of any Real Estate Agents success. Be the one to take the initiative and reach out to people. Don’t make the mistake of losing leads simply because you didn’t take action.

The best leads to reach out to are your active clients, active leads, new leads, expired listings, and older expired listings. When reaching out to these people, take interest in their personal lives. Instead of calling to talk, call to to ask them questions. Ask them what their plans are for this year, if they are still interested in moving, and whatever may be important to them. People like you when you like them.
